Sources close to the Apple App Store review office have stated that, the Google Voice application for the Apple iPhone has apparently now been approved and could soon be released for the Apple iPhone 4G device. Now, the Google will have to redesign the application so as to make it compatible with the iPhone 4G and the device’s multitasking capabilities.

In the month of July in 2009, Apple Inc. had blocked the official Google Voice application, that in turn had gotten the attention of the U.S Federal Communications Commission. on 9th of this very month, Apple announced release of new guidelines for application developers and as per the new rules, Google Voice application seemed to be clear of all hurdles and well on its way to come to the Apple Apps Store. With the inclusion of the Google Voice application, iPhone users will now be able to enjoy push notifications for inbound SMS and voicemail messages among various other features.
