Hamed Kohan, the Iranian designer is one of the fortunate selected entries for this year’s ‘Seoul Cycle Design 2010’. The design certainly has to be peerless to have achieved a place amongst 3000 other strong contenders.The event has been organized in association with Seoul Design Foundation which was launched last year aims at strengthening Seoul’s design capacity by unfolding various projects to encourage Seoul’s design industry and broaden the design culture based on its flagship facilities.
The theme ‘cycling with design’ is a great concept since cycles have become icons of eco-friendliness and healthiness. ‘Spread your love’ by Hamid Kohan has all the factors that has made it eligible for this event. The tire design has heart-shaped knobs that create playful tracks on the streets. You will instantly fall in love with the splendor of this tire design. ‘Come fall in love’ is what the designer seems to convey and as Hamid puts it in his words, “simple as love, strong as love”. Modern day Romeos can surely impress their Juliets with this unique design. It is certainly going to be one helluva event.
