When two great brands like Ferrari and Hasselblad join hands, then the outcome is nothing short of a masterpiece. Yes and that is the case with the latest camera brought out by Hasselblad in collaboration with Ferrari. Called H4D Ferrari, only 499 pieces of this high end camera will be available in the market.
It is no ordinary camera, so only those who really into their craft would be interested. But then again, anyone can admire a great piece of technology. This 80mm camera has the Ferrari “rosso fuoco” colour and also its legendary racing shield insignia. This ‘red’ hot camera was displayed at the Hasselblad photokina booth on September 22 to a very impressed audience. Renowned photographers, Guenther Raupp and Roberto Bigano performed a 30-minutes Master Class demonstrating their set-up and shooting techniques.
Dr. Larry Hansen, chairman and CEO of Hasselblad said: “I am proud of the company’s achievements since the introduction of the newest generation of Hasselblad cameras, the H4 series, and feel very honored to be able to celebrate our success together with such a precious brand.” Well it sure is a great collaboration as both the companies are known for their innovation and high levels of technical excellence.
