The newest Japanese humanoid robot was made by Kokoro and is being used in hospitals, testing the reaction and interaction of the patients.
The Actroid-F is eerily similar to a human being, in this case with a Japanese woman in her 20s. The robot was placed in hospitals to assess the reactions of patients to their presence.
According to Crunch Gear site, the Actroid-F was considered by Guinness as “the first real android.” In this case, a gynoid, since the robot was modeled after a female body.
Japanese humanoid robots, such as HRP-4C, presented a few weeks ago by Japanese engineers, and artists who can sing and imitate the voice synthesizing.
Even with all the precision of movements, Actroid-F is a little scary, but the site Plasticpals reassures everyone, remembering that the robot’s legs do not work and patients can run away. At least those who can get out of bed.
