It was in the news for quite sometime now, the all new sexy white PS3 Slim, and finally here it is. However, unlike the rumors, Sony is launching “classic white” PS3 Slim, and not the “ceramic white”. There will be two new PS3 models namely 160GB version and 320GB version and these will replace the existing stock of 120GB and 250GB models currently available at retailers.
The nice white colored PS3 Slim is only available for 160GB version and unfortunately gamers opting for 320GB version will have no choice other than to accept black (but hey! changing PS3 HDD isn’t that hard anyway). These models will be launched on July 29 in Japan only, and rest of the world will have to wait for the white PS3 Slim.
Pricing of new PS3 Slim:
160GB version: ¥29, 980 ($340) White Color
320GB version: ¥34, 980 ($400) Black Color
Currently, there is no news regarding the release date of white PS3 Slim in other countries. We will let you know as soon as Sony announces International availability.
