On the occasion of the CMAI-Info com National Telecom Awards 2010, J S Sharma, chairman, TRAI, said that since the bidding process was over for 3G, the bidding for BWA (broadband wireless access) would also start in a couple of days. Though India, he told, has delayed the 3G process
and is the 131st country to implement it, it will not lag behind in implementing 4G in the country and would expedite its efforts to bring the technology to the country as early as possible.
