BSNL To Pay Full 3G Spectrum Fees

BSNL will pay full licence fees for the 3G spectrum allocated to the state-owned telecom operator, a source close to BSNL said today.

“BSNL has enough cash to pay the full spectrum fees...without any concession from the government,“ the source told reporters at The Telecom Awards 2010.

BSNL won the 'Best Internet Service Provider' at the awards held in New Delhi today.

BSNL and MTNL were allotted the spectrum for 3G and broadband wireless access services a year ago, thereby gaining first-mover advant.
