Space ship (SS2), the VSS Enterprise has now completed its maiden manned free flight test. The SS2 had previously aced a similar test in the month of July last year, when the space craft completed its test flight attached to the mother ship, VMS Eve.
This time around, the SS2 completed test flight completely on its own, after being releases from the mother ship at an altitude of 45,000 feet, after which the craft remained airborne for 11 minutes and then safely landed at the Mojave Air and Spaceport.
