Ford Motors launches New Ford Focus Electric Zero Emission Car | Ford Electric zero emission car

Ford Motors has unveiled an all new electric car by the name of Ford Focus Electric and with the introduction of this zero emission passenger vehicle CES 2011 has now officially gone eco-friendly.

Specifications:

• Ford Focus comes with a 23 kWh lithium-ion battery,
• full charge in three hours, on a 240-volt outlet
• 20 hours of recharge time will be required on a 120 volt outlet,
• maximum range of 80 miles.

Among other features, the all new Ford Focus Electric will come with voice-activated communications and in-car entertainment system .

Ford has announced that, it has in fact partnered with Best Buy and the Geek Squad, that will act as exclusive sellers, installers and tech support providers for the Ford 240 watt charging stations
