Airtel is offerins a demo of their upcoming 3G service in many airtel showrooms across India.
Airtel 3G dongle(an electronic device that must be attached to a computer in order for it to use protected software) with new logo . The dongle was connected to a really slow Lenovo netbook and still me managed to stream video and conduct speed tests.
The Speed Test:
- Download speeds :: 2.3-2.4 Mbps
- upload speeds :: 400-500Kbps

Airtel is expected to roll out the 3G services in December and tarrifs will be released in 1st week according to the folks at the showroom.
