Now, You Can Speak To Your Android Phone!

Google has launched a new feature to its Android mobile operating system named 'voice action' that enables users to speak and command their mobile phones into action.

With the addition of this new capability users can interact with their device and perform actions as sending text messages, e-mail a reminder to oneself, set alarm clock, get directions, find music, open a map and call places, and a lot more by commanding their phone to action using the power of 'voice action'
According to Hugo Barra, product manager, Google, said: "It really is about interacting with the device in the simplest of ways using the voice."

The search engine is betting on this enhancement as a move to stay ahead of the competition in the mobile OS space. This is also being viewed as a step forward in Google's mobile strategy to boost sales. The feature is currently available in English language only.
